Netflix Launches Online Shop for Show-Themed Merchandise

On Thursday, Netflix announced it will be launching an online shop that will sell limited-edition apparel, merch, and other collectibles based on its popular shows. 

The store,, is already available in the U.S., and is set to expand outside the U.S. in the coming months.

Netflix is more than just a streaming service now.

On Thursday, the company launched an online store, where it will sell merchandise and apparel related to its original series and movies. 

According to an announcement from Netflix, the new shop will regularly release “limited editions of carefully selected high-quality apparel and lifestyle products.”

Netflix opens online shop offering merchandise from hit shows

Netflix has launched an online shop that sells branded merchandise from hit shows like “Bridgerton,” “Stranger Things” and “Lupin.”

On Thursday, the streaming giant unveiled its online store, which includes collections designed by Nathalie Nguyen, Kristopher Kites and Jordan Bentley that are inspired by the anime series “Yasuke” and “Eden.”

So far there are caps, hoodies and T-shirts and futuristic looking anime-inspired figurines and alarm clocks. Eventually there will be other knick knacks like charms and home décor. Prices range from $30 to $135.

Netflix Inc will launch an online store to sell limited-edition apparel, lifestyle merchandise and collectibles based on “Stranger Things,” “Lupin” and other popular shows, the streaming giant said on Thursday. will be available in the United States starting on Thursday and expand to other countries in the coming months, Netflix said in a blog post.

The video streaming pioneer is facing a growing list of competitors offering their own streaming services with new movies and TV shows. In April, Netflix fell short of Wall Street projections for new subscribers.

Netflix Online Store to Sell Stranger Things, Witcher Exclusive Merch

Netflix has been selling its subscription products direct-to-consumer since it was founded more than two decades ago.

Now the streaming giant has launched — the company’s first owned-and-operated retail outlet to sell products directly. Of course, Netflix already has licensing deals for hundreds of products based on its original programming, sold by Target, Walmart, Amazon, H&M, Sephora and other retailers.

So what’s the point of Netflix having its own ecommerce presence? According Josh Simon, Netflix’s VP of consumer products, the website is “an exciting new destination combining curated products and rich storytelling in a uniquely Netflix shopping experience.”
