Sears, the behemoth that was once the largest retailer in the United States, is set to close its final Michigan department store in the coming months.
Signs posted at the Sears store at the Westland Shopping Center indicates the store at the mall at Wayne and Warren roads is closing its doors. Signage indicates merchandise is marked down 15% to 50% off throughout the store.
Plenty of items remain for sale as of Tuesday afternoon: clothing was abundant on the first floor, and the second floor had many appliances and more.
